1. Acceptance of Terms
RoomMaps provides a decentralized directory mapping available rentals, rooms, PG spaces, and service apartments. By listing a property or querying details of a listed flat, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age and hold the capacity to enter binding agreements.
2. User Account & Security
If you create an account on RoomMaps, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your session keys and Google Auth credentials.
- Ensuring details submitted (names, phone numbers) are accurate and active.
- Any activity occurring under your account profile.
3. Property Listing Guidelines
To keep listing directories clean, hosts must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Authentic Media: Listings must represent actual available apartments using real photos.
- Zero Brokers: If you are a middleman charging standard brokerage fees, your listing is prohibited. Any reported broker lists are deleted.
- No Spam: Do not list duplicate properties in different sectors to maximize visibility.
4. Zero Brokerage Guarantee
RoomMaps does not charge brokerage to tenants or landlords. We are not a party to lease contracts or rental security agreements. Tenants are advised to physically inspect properties and verify ownership details before transferring security deposits.
5. Limitation of Liability
RoomMaps acts solely as a discovery portal mapping user-submitted pins. We do not inspect flats, vouch for tenant character, or provide rental arbitration. RoomMaps is not liable for structural property issues, lease contract breaches, or lost deposit payments.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal actions or disputes related to the platform shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.
